Happy Hollow Mares
Our mares are selected for temperament and disposition above all, then come looks and versatility. We've read that temperament is the hardest trait to breed for and last on a lot of breeders requirements. We want mares that are a good example to their foals. Easy to catch and nice to handle. Since we foal in stalls, mares must be quiet and well mannered in a foaling stall. They must accept us imprinting and handling their newborn foal. They must have good mothering traits and produce sweet and willing babies that are easy to train. We have a variety of mares that produce foals for many different disciplines.
